Long Description

CATALOOCHEE CAMPGROUND is a RV Park in or near the town of Maggie Valley. It is a fairly small park with a listed 27 sites to park your camper. This park must not have any pull thru sites that we are aware. The owners of the park were careful not to claim that the park can handle a Big Rig. Make sure your generator is fueled up for this park. Electric looks to not be provided. There is NO 50 amp service at the park. At a minimum, make sure you have some drinking water as water hookups are not provided. You will not be able to stay indefinitely as there are no sewer connections. The park has a more authentic camping experience than some RV parks due to the lack of 802.11 WiFi. We have no idea of the over the air TV, but we do know that no Cable TV is provided. Your pet is welcome at this park. If you like to REALLY get outside, you would be thrilled to know that you can camp in a tent here. This park has some waterfront so you might get to enjoy the added benefit of the peace of water. Shade trees are at this RV park so you will be able to sip mimosa in style. If you ever get near Maggie Valley make sure you stop on by the CATALOOCHEE CAMPGROUND.
