LEFT TAILRACE RECREATION AREA is a RV Park in or near the town of Chamberlain. It is a slightly larger than medium park with a listed 123 slots to park your RV. This park does not seem to have pull thru sites. If you are driving a large Class A, then you are in luck since there are some extra long pads. Electric hookups are provided. The largest electric service is probably 30 amp. Another of the basics – water hookups – is provided. You will want to ensure an empty gray and black tank as sewer connections are not provided here. If you are lucky, you might be able to use your cellular for internet, but otherwise there is no Wireless Internet. Really this shouldn’t be an issue for campers, honestly, but there is not a Cable TV hookup. This is the one park you might want to leave behind Barky since it is not really a pro-animal park. If you like to REALLY get outside, you would be thrilled to know that you can camp in a tent here. This park has some waterfront so you might get to enjoy the added benefit of the peace of water. Some shade trees do exist, which also make the park more scenic and attractive. I am confident that the kind folks at LEFT TAILRACE RECREATION AREA would want you to give them a try if you are passing by Chamberlain.
