LAKE THUNDERBIRD STATE PARK is a RV Park in or near the town of Norman. It is a largish and maybe almost large park with a possible 271 sites to park your coach. This park has pull thru pads if you are uncomfortable with backing your rig. Do not worry too much about the length of your Big Rig since the sites are built for large RVs. You will be able to connect your RV to electric. You will be thrilled to know that 50 amp service is provided. For the true RV experience – water hookups are provided – much better than camping in a tent! Adding to your RVing joy, make sure you bring your stinky slinky as there are sewer connections at the park. Be prepared to actually put the computer down and enjoy your coffee as there is no 802.11 WiFi. You had better hope you have satellite if you are a TV Addict – no cable tv at this park. Animals are welcome here. Some parts of this RV Park are more rustic than others with tent camping being accepted. If the days get hot, you can enjoy the shade trees that exist here.
