LAKE LOWNDES STATE PARK is a RV Park in or near the town of Columbus. It is a almost small park with a possible 50 spots to park your recreational vehicle. This park has no pull thru sites. If you are driving a very large camper, then you are in luck since there are some extra long pads. Electric hookups are provided. You will be thrilled to know that 50 amp service is provided. Another of the basics – water hookups – is provided. Sewer connections are provided. Be prepared to actually put the computer down and enjoy your coffee as there is no Wireless Internet. You had better hope you have satellite if you are a TV Watcher – no cable tv at this park. Your pet is welcome at this park. If you like to REALLY get outside, you would be thrilled to know that you can camp in a tent here. This park has some waterfront so you might get to enjoy the added benefit of the peace of water.
