LAKE HOPE STATE PARK is a RV Park in or near the town of McArthur. It is a largish and maybe almost large park with a claimed 187 slots to park your coach. This park must not have any pull thru sites that we are aware. If you are driving a Big Daddy RV, then you are in luck since there are some extra long pads. You will be able to connect your RV to electric. One really nice thing is the 50 amp electric service. Regardless of other connections, water, surprisingly enough, is not a provided service. Probably due to the nature of the park and its location, sewer connections are not available. Be prepared to actually put the computer down and enjoy your coffee as there is no 802.11 Wireless Internet. You had better hope you have satellite if you are a TV Addict – no cable tv at this park. Your pet is welcome at this park. Some parts of this RV Park are more rustic than others with tent camping being accepted. Some shade trees do exist, which also make the park more scenic and attractive. Do not just drive by McArthur – instead stop and rest at LAKE HOPE STATE PARK.
