JIMMIE DAVIS STATE PARK is a RV Park in or near the town of Chatham. It is a medium park with a claimed 90 rv sites to park your home away from home. This park must not have any pull thru sites that we are aware. Your very large camper should have no trouble in the longer slots this park has. You will be able to connect your RV to electric. You will be thrilled to know that 50 amp service is provided. No need to fill the freshwater since there are water hookups. You will want to ensure an empty gray and black tank as sewer connections are not provided here. If you just cannot get away without a little taste of the internet – do not be alarmed – Wireless Internet is at the park. You had better hope you have satellite if you are a TV Watcher – no cable tv at this park. Animals are welcome here. Not sure this is a good thing for a high class RV experience, but tent camping is allowed. We tend to enjoy parks that have some connection to a waterfront, like a river or lake – and this park has that. Some shade trees do exist, which also make the park more scenic and attractive.
