INTERLOCHEN STATE PARK is a RV Park in or near the town of Interlochen. It is a large park with a reported 418 spots to park your coach. This park has pull thru sites for your convenience. If you are driving a very long camper, then you are in luck since there are some extra long pads. Electric hookups are provided. Power is no problem – the park has 50 amp service. At a minimum, make sure you have some drinking water as water hookups are not provided. You will not be able to stay indefinitely as there are no sewer connections. Be prepared to actually put the computer down and enjoy your coffee as there is no 802.11 WiFi. You had better hope you have satellite if you are a TV Addict – no cable tv at this park. Go ahead and bring along little Paws since this park is Animal Friendly. Not sure this is a good thing for a high class RV experience, but tent camping is allowed. A neat thing about this park is that it does have some waterfront attached to it. If the days get hot, you can enjoy the shade trees that exist here. I am confident that the kind folks at INTERLOCHEN STATE PARK would want you to give them a try if you are passing by Interlochen.
