INDIANA DUNES STATE PARK is a RV Park in or near the town of Chesterton. It is a largish park with a possible 140 slots to park your coach. This park has no pull thru sites. Do not worry too much about the length of your very long camper since the sites are built for large RVs. You will be able to connect your RV to electric. One really nice thing is the 50 amp electric service. Regardless of other connections, water, surprisingly enough, is not a provided service. Probably due to the nature of the park and its location, sewer connections are not available. If you are lucky, you might be able to use your cellular for internet, but otherwise there is no 802.11 WiFi. Really this shouldn’t be an issue for campers, honestly, but there is not a Cable TV hookup. Go ahead and bring along little Wags since this park is Animal Friendly. If you like to REALLY get outside, you would be thrilled to know that you can camp in a tent here. Shade trees are at this RV park so you will be able to sip pina colada in style. Do not just drive by Chesterton – instead stop and rest at INDIANA DUNES STATE PARK.
