HAWTHORN COUNTY PARK is a RV Park in or near the town of Terre Haute. It is a medium park with a possible 83 sites to park your RV. This park has pull thru pads if you are uncomfortable with backing your rig. We are not sure that your Big Rig can fit comfortably so please call ahead. Electric hookups are provided. Power is no problem – the park has 50 amp service. No need to fill the freshwater since there are water hookups. You will not be able to stay indefinitely as there are no sewer connections. The park has a more authentic camping experience than some RV parks due to the lack of 802.11 Wireless Internet. Really this shouldn’t be an issue for campers, honestly, but there is not a Cable TV hookup. Go ahead and bring along little ole Furr Ball since this park is Animal Friendly. If you like to REALLY get outside, you would be thrilled to know that you can camp in a tent here. Shade trees are at this RV park so you will be able to sip lemonade in style. Maybe if you are planning on visiting Terre Haute, you might find a great place to stay at HAWTHORN COUNTY PARK.
