HATTERAS SANDS RESORT is a RV Park in or near the town of Hatteras. It is a slightly larger than medium park with a claimed 100 pads to park your camper. This park has pull thru pads if you are uncomfortable with backing your rig. Do not worry too much about the length of your very long RV rig since the sites are built for large RVs. Electric hookups are provided. One really nice thing is the 50 amp electric service. For the true RV experience – water hookups are provided – much better than camping in a tent! Sewer connections are provided. One of the more civilized services – Wireless Internet – is provided by the owners of the park. If your wife or significant other insists on Oxygen network be assured, the park offers Cable TV hookups. Go ahead and bring along little Fluffy since this park is Animal Friendly. Some parts of this RV Park are more rustic than others with tent camping being accepted. Swimming pool access is a nice touch for this park. I am confident that the kind folks at HATTERAS SANDS RESORT would want you to give them a try if you are passing by Hatteras.
