WINTER ISLAND PARK CAMPGROUND is a RV Park in or near the town of Salem. It is a small park with a reported 57 slots to park your home away from home. This park must not have any pull thru sites that we are aware. Do not worry too much about the length of your Big Daddy RV since the sites are built for large RVs. Electric hookups are provided. Power is no problem – the park has 50 amp service. For the true RV experience – water hookups are provided – much better than camping in a tent! Probably due to the nature of the park and its location, sewer connections are not available. If you just cannot get away without a little taste of the internet – do not be alarmed – 802.11 Wireless Internet is at the park. We have no idea of the over the air TV, but we do know that no Cable TV is provided. Your pet is welcome at this park. If you have a tent, you will need to keep it stowed at this RV park as tents are not allowed. A neat thing about this park is that it does have some waterfront attached to it. I am confident that the kind folks at WINTER ISLAND PARK CAMPGROUND would want you to give them a try if you are passing by Salem.
