WILSON ISLAND RECREATION AREA is a RV Park in or near the town of Missouri Valley. It is a largish park with a possible 135 rv sites to park your recreational vehicle. This park must not have any pull thru sites that we are aware. Do not worry too much about the length of your large Class A since the sites are built for large RVs. Electric hookups are provided. There is NO 50 amp service at the park. Make sure you have water in the fresh tank as water hookups are not provided. Probably due to the nature of the park and its location, sewer connections are not available. If you are lucky, you might be able to use your cellular for internet, but otherwise there is no WiFi. Really this shouldn’t be an issue for campers, honestly, but there is not a Cable TV hookup. Go ahead and bring along little Sparky since this park is Animal Friendly. Not sure this is a good thing for a high class RV experience, but tent camping is allowed. This park has some waterfront so you might get to enjoy the added benefit of the peace of water. If the days get hot, you can enjoy the shade trees that exist here. If you ever get near Missouri Valley make sure you stop on by the WILSON ISLAND RECREATION AREA.
