TONTO NATIONAL FOREST/PONDEROSA CAMPGROUND is a RV Park in or near the town of Payson. It is a small to medium park with a reported 61 spots to park your camper. This park has pull thru pads if you are uncomfortable with backing your rig. Your mansion on wheels should have no trouble in the longer slots this park has. Bring your generator as this park does not have electric hookups. Do not expect to run both air conditioners as 30 amp seems to be the largest service. At a minimum, make sure you have some drinking water as water hookups are not provided. You will not be able to stay indefinitely as there are no sewer connections. I do not know about you, but I cannot live without WiFi and this park has it so that is a good thing. We have no idea of the over the air TV, but we do know that no Cable TV is provided. Go ahead and bring along little Rusty since this park is Animal Friendly. If you like to REALLY get outside, you would be thrilled to know that you can camp in a tent here.
