THOUSAND ACRES FAMILY CAMPGROUND is a RV Park in or near the town of Franklin. It is a largish and maybe almost large park with a possible 300 spots to park your camper. This park does not seem to have pull thru sites. If you are driving a large Class A, then you are in luck since there are some extra long pads. Electric hookups are provided. One really nice thing is the 50 amp electric service. For the true RV experience – water hookups are provided – much better than camping in a tent! Adding to your RVing joy, make sure you bring your stinky slinky as there are sewer connections at the park. The park has a more authentic camping experience than some RV parks due to the lack of WiFi. When you are relaxing and enjoying your RV, you will also enjoy the Cable TV hookups too. Your pet is welcome at this park. If you like to REALLY get outside, you would be thrilled to know that you can camp in a tent here. Swimming pool access is a nice touch for this park. If the days get hot, you can enjoy the shade trees that exist here. I am confident that the kind folks at THOUSAND ACRES FAMILY CAMPGROUND would want you to give them a try if you are passing by Franklin.
