THOMPSONS LAKE STATE PARK is a RV Park in or near the town of East Berne. It is a largish park with a possible 140 spots to park your home away from home. This park does not seem to have pull thru sites. We are not sure that your very long RV rig can fit comfortably so please call ahead. Make sure your generator is fueled up for this park. Electric looks to not be provided. There is NO 50 amp service at the park. Regardless of other connections, water, surprisingly enough, is not a provided service. Probably due to the nature of the park and its location, sewer connections are not available. The park has a more authentic camping experience than some RV parks due to the lack of WiFi. Really this shouldn’t be an issue for campers, honestly, but there is not a Cable TV hookup. Go ahead and bring along little Sparky since this park is Animal Friendly. Some parts of this RV Park are more rustic than others with tent camping being accepted. We tend to enjoy parks that have some connection to a waterfront, like a river or lake – and this park has that. If the days get hot, you can enjoy the shade trees that exist here. Do not be a stranger, when you are by East Berne, give the peeps at THOMPSONS LAKE STATE PARK a call.
