THE PINES CAMPGROUND is a RV Park in or near the town of Ashby. It is a small park with a claimed 60 slots to park your camper. This park does not seem to have pull thru sites. The owners of the park were careful not to claim that the park can handle a 45 footer. You will be able to connect your RV to electric. Power is no problem – the park has 50 amp service. No need to fill the freshwater since there are water hookups. Adding to your RVing joy, make sure you bring your stinky slinky as there are sewer connections at the park. The park has a more authentic camping experience than some RV parks due to the lack of WiFi. If your wife or significant other insists on LifeTime network be assured, the park offers Cable TV hookups. Go ahead and bring along little ole Furr Ball since this park is Animal Friendly. Some parts of this RV Park are more rustic than others with tent camping being accepted. We tend to enjoy parks that have some connection to a waterfront, like a river or lake – and this park has that. If getting in a pool is your thing then you are in luck at this park – it has pool access. Some shade trees do exist, which also make the park more scenic and attractive. I am confident that the kind folks at THE PINES CAMPGROUND would want you to give them a try if you are passing by Ashby.
