THE CAMPGROUND is a RV Park in or near the town of Manton. It is a fairly small park with a reported 30 pads to park your camper. This park has pull thru sites for your convenience. If you are driving a 45 footer, then you are in luck since there are some extra long pads. Electric hookups are provided. You will be thrilled to know that 50 amp service is provided. For the true RV experience – water hookups are provided – much better than camping in a tent! Some really good news is that a sewer connection is provided. The park has a more authentic camping experience than some RV parks due to the lack of 802.11 Wireless Internet. Really this shouldn’t be an issue for campers, honestly, but there is not a Cable TV hookup. Go ahead and bring along little Wags since this park is Animal Friendly. If you have a tent, you will need to keep it stowed at this RV park as tents are not allowed. Some shade trees do exist, which also make the park more scenic and attractive. I am confident that the kind folks at THE CAMPGROUND would want you to give them a try if you are passing by Manton.
