SWARTSWOOD STATE PARK is a RV Park in or near the town of Newton. It is a small to medium park with a possible 65 pads to park your RV. This park has no pull thru sites. If your coach is 36 feet or longer you might want to call and see if you are too long. Bring your generator as this park does not have electric hookups. There is NO 50 amp service at the park. Make sure you have water in the fresh tank as water hookups are not provided. You will not be able to stay indefinitely as there are no sewer connections. If you are lucky, you might be able to use your cellular for internet, but otherwise there is no 802.11 WiFi. You had better hope you have satellite if you are a TV Addict – no cable tv at this park. Depending on your perspective you might like this park as animals are not particularly welcome. Not sure this is a good thing for a high class RV experience, but tent camping is allowed. Shade trees are at this RV park so you will be able to sip iced tea in style. Do not just drive by Newton – instead stop and rest at SWARTSWOOD STATE PARK.
