SUWANEE RIVER STATE PARK is a RV Park in or near the town of Live Oak. It is a fairly small park with a claimed 30 pads to park your recreational vehicle. This park has pull thru pads if you are uncomfortable with backing your rig. Do not worry too much about the length of your large Class A motorhome since the sites are built for large RVs. You will be able to connect your RV to electric. One really nice thing is the 50 amp electric service. For the true RV experience – water hookups are provided – much better than camping in a tent! Some really good news is that a sewer connection is provided. Be prepared to actually put the computer down and enjoy your coffee as there is no WiFi. Really this shouldn’t be an issue for campers, honestly, but there is not a Cable TV hookup. Go ahead and bring along little Wags since this park is Animal Friendly. If you like to REALLY get outside, you would be thrilled to know that you can camp in a tent here. If the days get hot, you can enjoy the shade trees that exist here. I am confident that the kind folks at SUWANEE RIVER STATE PARK would want you to give them a try if you are passing by Live Oak.
