STONE MOUNTAIN STATE PARK is a RV Park in or near the town of Roaring Gap. It is a medium park with a claimed 90 sites to park your RV. This park does not seem to have pull thru sites. Your very long RV rig should have no trouble in the longer slots this park has. You will be able to connect your RV to electric. One really nice thing is the 50 amp electric service. No need to fill the freshwater since there are water hookups. Probably due to the nature of the park and its location, sewer connections are not available. Be prepared to actually put the computer down and enjoy your coffee as there is no Wireless Internet. We have no idea of the over the air TV, but we do know that no Cable TV is provided. Animals are welcome here. If you like to REALLY get outside, you would be thrilled to know that you can camp in a tent here. We tend to enjoy parks that have some connection to a waterfront, like a river or lake – and this park has that. Some shade trees do exist, which also make the park more scenic and attractive. Do not be a stranger, when you are by Roaring Gap, give the peeps at STONE MOUNTAIN STATE PARK a call.
