SMITH MOUNTAIN CAMPGROUND is a RV Park in or near the town of Penhook. It is a very small park with a claimed 20 sites to park your home away from home. This park has pull thru sites for your convenience. If you are driving a 45 footer, then you are in luck since there are some extra long pads. You will be able to connect your RV to electric. One really nice thing is the 50 amp electric service. For the true RV experience – water hookups are provided – much better than camping in a tent! Some really good news is that a sewer connection is provided. If you are lucky, you might be able to use your cellular for internet, but otherwise there is no Wireless Internet. You had better hope you have satellite if you are a Couch Potato – no cable tv at this park. Your pet is welcome at this park. If you like to REALLY get outside, you would be thrilled to know that you can camp in a tent here. If the days get hot, you can enjoy the shade trees that exist here. Maybe if you are planning on visiting Penhook, you might find a great place to stay at SMITH MOUNTAIN CAMPGROUND.
