SLEEPING BEAR DUNES NATIONAL LAKESHORE/PLATTE RIVER CAMPGROUND is a RV Park in or near the town of Honor. It is a largish and maybe almost large park with a reported 179 sites to park your camper. This park has pull thru sites for your convenience. The owners of the park were careful not to claim that the park can handle a very large camper. You will be able to connect your RV to electric. Power is no problem – the park has 50 amp service. At a minimum, make sure you have some drinking water as water hookups are not provided. You will not be able to stay indefinitely as there are no sewer connections. The park has a more authentic camping experience than some RV parks due to the lack of 802.11 WiFi. We have no idea of the over the air TV, but we do know that no Cable TV is provided. Go ahead and bring along little Fluffy since this park is Animal Friendly. Some parts of this RV Park are more rustic than others with tent camping being accepted. Shade trees are at this RV park so you will be able to sip lemonade in style. Maybe if you are planning on visiting Honor, you might find a great place to stay at SLEEPING BEAR DUNES NATIONAL LAKESHORE/PLATTE RIVER CAMPGROUND.
