ROOSEVELT STATE PARK is a RV Park in or near the town of Morton. It is a slightly larger than medium park with a listed 109 rv sites to park your home away from home. This park does not seem to have pull thru sites. The owners of the park were careful not to claim that the park can handle a very large camper. No need for a generator since the park has electric. One really nice thing is the 50 amp electric service. No need to fill the freshwater since there are water hookups. Sewer connections are provided. Be prepared to actually put the computer down and enjoy your coffee as there is no 802.11 Wireless Internet. Really this shouldn’t be an issue for campers, honestly, but there is not a Cable TV hookup. Your pet is welcome at this park. Some parts of this RV Park are more rustic than others with tent camping being accepted. This park has some waterfront so you might get to enjoy the added benefit of the peace of water. Swimming pool access is a nice touch for this park. Some shade trees do exist, which also make the park more scenic and attractive. Do not just drive by Morton – instead stop and rest at ROOSEVELT STATE PARK.
