RIVER CREEK CAMPGROUND is a RV Park in or near the town of Lake Lure. It is a small park with a claimed 55 sites to park your recreational vehicle. This park has pull thru slots to make setting up a snap. If you are driving a mansion on wheels, then you are in luck since there are some extra long pads. You will be able to connect your RV to electric. Power is no problem – the park has 50 amp service. No need to fill the freshwater since there are water hookups. Some really good news is that a sewer connection is provided. If you are lucky, you might be able to use your cellular for internet, but otherwise there is no 802.11 WiFi. When you are relaxing and enjoying your RV, you will also enjoy the Cable TV hookups too. Go ahead and bring along little ole Yeller since this park is Animal Friendly. Not sure this is a good thing for a high class RV experience, but tent camping is allowed. This park has some waterfront so you might get to enjoy the added benefit of the peace of water. If the days get hot, you can enjoy the shade trees that exist here. Do not just drive by Lake Lure – instead stop and rest at RIVER CREEK CAMPGROUND.
