R. SHAEFER HEARD PARK is a RV Park in or near the town of West Point. It is a slightly larger than medium park with a reported 117 rv sites to park your RV. This park has pull thru slots to make setting up a snap. We are not sure that your very long RV rig can fit comfortably so please call ahead. Electric hookups are provided. Do not expect to run both air conditioners as 30 amp seems to be the largest service. Another of the basics – water hookups – is provided. You will want to ensure an empty gray and black tank as sewer connections are not provided here. If you are lucky, you might be able to use your cellular for internet, but otherwise there is no Wireless Internet. Really this shouldn’t be an issue for campers, honestly, but there is not a Cable TV hookup. Your pet is welcome at this park. Not sure this is a good thing for a high class RV experience, but tent camping is allowed. A neat thing about this park is that it does have some waterfront attached to it. If the days get hot, you can enjoy the shade trees that exist here. Do not be a stranger, when you are by West Point, give the peeps at R. SHAEFER HEARD PARK a call.
