POTLATCH STATE PARK is a RV Park in or near the town of Hoodsport. It is a somewhat small park with a possible 37 sites to park your RV. This park does not seem to have pull thru sites. The owners of the park were careful not to claim that the park can handle a very long RV rig. No need for a generator since the park has electric. You will be thrilled to know that 50 amp service is provided. For the true RV experience – water hookups are provided – much better than camping in a tent! Probably due to the nature of the park and its location, sewer connections are not available. Be prepared to actually put the computer down and enjoy your coffee as there is no WiFi. Really this shouldn’t be an issue for campers, honestly, but there is not a Cable TV hookup. Your pet is welcome at this park. Some parts of this RV Park are more rustic than others with tent camping being accepted. If the days get hot, you can enjoy the shade trees that exist here. I am confident that the kind folks at POTLATCH STATE PARK would want you to give them a try if you are passing by Hoodsport.
