PIONEER CAMPGROUND is a RV Park in or near the town of Laporte. It is a slightly larger than medium park with a reported 100 rv sites to park your coach. This park does not seem to have pull thru sites. If you are driving a Motorhome, then you are in luck since there are some extra long pads. No need for a generator since the park has electric. Do not expect to run both air conditioners as 30 amp seems to be the largest service. For the true RV experience – water hookups are provided – much better than camping in a tent! You will not be able to stay indefinitely as there are no sewer connections. One of the more civilized services – WiFi – is provided by the owners of the park. When you are relaxing and enjoying your RV, you will also enjoy the Cable TV hookups too. Your pet is welcome at this park. Not sure this is a good thing for a high class RV experience, but tent camping is allowed. If getting in a pool is your thing then you are in luck at this park – it has pool access. If the days get hot, you can enjoy the shade trees that exist here. Do not just drive by Laporte – instead stop and rest at PIONEER CAMPGROUND.
