PICKWICK LANDING STATE PARK is a RV Park in or near the town of Pickwick Dam. It is a almost small park with a reported 48 pads to park your coach. This park has pull thru slots to make setting up a snap. Do not worry too much about the length of your mansion on wheels since the sites are built for large RVs. You will be able to connect your RV to electric. Power is no problem – the park has 50 amp service. For the true RV experience – water hookups are provided – much better than camping in a tent! You will want to ensure an empty gray and black tank as sewer connections are not provided here. If you are lucky, you might be able to use your cellular for internet, but otherwise there is no 802.11 Wireless Internet. You had better hope you have satellite if you are a TV Watcher – no cable tv at this park. Your pet is welcome at this park. Not sure this is a good thing for a high class RV experience, but tent camping is allowed. Shade trees are at this RV park so you will be able to sip pina colada in style.
