PATOKA LAKE STATE PARK is a RV Park in or near the town of Birdseye. It is a large park with a possible 500 rv sites to park your home away from home. This park has pull thru slots to make setting up a snap. Do not worry too much about the length of your Big Daddy RV since the sites are built for large RVs. You will be able to connect your RV to electric. You will be thrilled to know that 50 amp service is provided. Make sure you have water in the fresh tank as water hookups are not provided. Probably due to the nature of the park and its location, sewer connections are not available. If you are lucky, you might be able to use your cellular for internet, but otherwise there is no 802.11 Wireless Internet. Really this shouldn’t be an issue for campers, honestly, but there is not a Cable TV hookup. Your pet is welcome at this park. Not sure this is a good thing for a high class RV experience, but tent camping is allowed. Some shade trees do exist, which also make the park more scenic and attractive. If you ever get near Birdseye make sure you stop on by the PATOKA LAKE STATE PARK.
