NEW RIVER STATE PARK is a RV Park in or near the town of Laurel Springs. It is a somewhat small park with a possible 35 sites to park your camper. This park has no pull thru sites. If your coach is 36 feet or longer you might want to call and see if you are too long. You will be able to connect your RV to electric. One really nice thing is the 50 amp electric service. For the true RV experience – water hookups are provided – much better than camping in a tent! Adding to your RVing joy, make sure you bring your stinky slinky as there are sewer connections at the park. If you are lucky, you might be able to use your cellular for internet, but otherwise there is no 802.11 Wireless Internet. You had better hope you have satellite if you are a TV Addict – no cable tv at this park. Go ahead and bring along little Paws since this park is Animal Friendly. If you like to REALLY get outside, you would be thrilled to know that you can camp in a tent here. If the days get hot, you can enjoy the shade trees that exist here. Do not just drive by Laurel Springs – instead stop and rest at NEW RIVER STATE PARK.
