NEW RIVER CAMPGROUND is a RV Park in or near the town of Sparta. It is a almost small park with a listed 49 spots to park your home away from home. This park does not seem to have pull thru sites. If you are driving a very large camper, then you are in luck since there are some extra long pads. Electric hookups are provided. Power is no problem – the park has 50 amp service. Another of the basics – water hookups – is provided. Some really good news is that a sewer connection is provided. The park has a more authentic camping experience than some RV parks due to the lack of WiFi. You had better hope you have satellite if you are a Couch Potato – no cable tv at this park. Animals are welcome here. If you like to REALLY get outside, you would be thrilled to know that you can camp in a tent here. This park has some waterfront so you might get to enjoy the added benefit of the peace of water. Some shade trees do exist, which also make the park more scenic and attractive. Do not just drive by Sparta – instead stop and rest at NEW RIVER CAMPGROUND.
