NEUSE RIVER – CROATAN NATIONAL FOREST is a RV Park in or near the town of New Bern. It is a almost small park with a reported 41 pads to park your RV. This park has pull thru slots to make setting up a snap. Your Big Rig should have no trouble in the longer slots this park has. No need for a generator since the park has electric. The largest electric service is probably 30 amp. Make sure you have water in the fresh tank as water hookups are not provided. Probably due to the nature of the park and its location, sewer connections are not available. Be prepared to actually put the computer down and enjoy your coffee as there is no Wireless Internet. You had better hope you have satellite if you are a Couch Potato – no cable tv at this park. Depending on your perspective you might like this park as animals are not particularly welcome. If you like to REALLY get outside, you would be thrilled to know that you can camp in a tent here. If the days get hot, you can enjoy the shade trees that exist here. Maybe if you are planning on visiting New Bern, you might find a great place to stay at NEUSE RIVER – CROATAN NATIONAL FOREST.
