MOREAU LAKE STATE PARK is a RV Park in or near the town of Gansevoort. It is a largish park with a listed 149 sites to park your RV. This park does not seem to have pull thru sites. The owners of the park were careful not to claim that the park can handle a 45 footer. We do not believe the park has electric hookups. Do not expect to run both air conditioners as 30 amp seems to be the largest service. Regardless of other connections, water, surprisingly enough, is not a provided service. You will not be able to stay indefinitely as there are no sewer connections. Be prepared to actually put the computer down and enjoy your coffee as there is no 802.11 Wireless Internet. Really this shouldn’t be an issue for campers, honestly, but there is not a Cable TV hookup. Depending on your perspective you might like this park as animals are not particularly welcome. If you like to REALLY get outside, you would be thrilled to know that you can camp in a tent here. Some shade trees do exist, which also make the park more scenic and attractive. If you ever get near Gansevoort make sure you stop on by the MOREAU LAKE STATE PARK.
