MERCHANTS MILLPOND STATE PARK is a RV Park in or near the town of Gatesville. It is a somewhat small park with a listed 35 sites to park your recreational vehicle. This park must not have any pull thru sites that we are aware. We are not sure that your very long camper can fit comfortably so please call ahead. Make sure your generator is fueled up for this park. Electric looks to not be provided. Do not expect to run both air conditioners as 30 amp seems to be the largest service. At a minimum, make sure you have some drinking water as water hookups are not provided. Probably due to the nature of the park and its location, sewer connections are not available. If you are lucky, you might be able to use your cellular for internet, but otherwise there is no Wireless Internet. Really this shouldn’t be an issue for campers, honestly, but there is not a Cable TV hookup. Depending on your perspective you might like this park as animals are not particularly welcome. If you like to REALLY get outside, you would be thrilled to know that you can camp in a tent here. If the days get hot, you can enjoy the shade trees that exist here. If you ever get near Gatesville make sure you stop on by the MERCHANTS MILLPOND STATE PARK.
