MAMMOTH CAVE NATIONAL PARK/HEADQUARTERS CAMPGROUND is a RV Park in or near the town of Mammoth Cave. It is a slightly larger than medium park with a possible 109 spots to park your camper. This park has pull thru pads if you are uncomfortable with backing your rig. If you are driving a large Class A motorhome, then you are in luck since there are some extra long pads. Make sure your generator is fueled up for this park. Electric looks to not be provided. There is NO 50 amp service at the park. Make sure you have water in the fresh tank as water hookups are not provided. You will not be able to stay indefinitely as there are no sewer connections. Be prepared to actually put the computer down and enjoy your coffee as there is no 802.11 WiFi. You had better hope you have satellite if you are a TV Addict – no cable tv at this park. Your pet is welcome at this park. Some parts of this RV Park are more rustic than others with tent camping being accepted. Some shade trees do exist, which also make the park more scenic and attractive.
