LOMOND RIVER LODGE is a RV Park in or near the town of Woody Point in Newfoundland. It is a almost small park with a claimed 48 spots to park your home away from home. This park must not have any pull thru sites that we are aware. Do not worry too much about the length of your Motorhome since the sites are built for large RVs. You will be able to connect your RV to electric. There is NO 50 amp service at the park. Another of the basics – water hookups – is provided. Adding to your RVing joy, make sure you bring your stinky slinky as there are sewer connections at the park. I do not know about you, but I cannot live without 802.11 WiFi and this park has it so that is a good thing. You had better hope you have satellite if you are a Couch Potato – no cable tv at this park. Go ahead and bring along little Sparky since this park is Animal Friendly. Not sure this is a good thing for a high class RV experience, but tent camping is allowed. Some shade trees do exist, which also make the park more scenic and attractive. Do not just drive by Woody Point – instead stop and rest at LOMOND RIVER LODGE. Interestingly enough, this probably isn’t a town you drive through, but instead one your drive to! Its more of an end point.
