LEONARD HARRISON STATE PARK is a RV Park in or near the town of Wellsboro. It is a fairly small park with a reported 28 sites to park your coach. This park has pull thru slots to make setting up a snap. If you are driving a Big Rig, then you are in luck since there are some extra long pads. Electric hookups are provided. Power is no problem – the park has 50 amp service. Regardless of other connections, water, surprisingly enough, is not a provided service. Probably due to the nature of the park and its location, sewer connections are not available. The park has a more authentic camping experience than some RV parks due to the lack of 802.11 Wireless Internet. Really this shouldn’t be an issue for campers, honestly, but there is not a Cable TV hookup. Your pet is welcome at this park. Not sure this is a good thing for a high class RV experience, but tent camping is allowed. Some shade trees do exist, which also make the park more scenic and attractive. Do not be a stranger, when you are by Wellsboro, give the peeps at LEONARD HARRISON STATE PARK a call.
