LAFAYETTE STATE PARK CAMPGROUND is a RV Park in or near the town of Franconia. It is a slightly larger than medium park with a reported 97 pads to park your coach. This park has pull thru pads if you are uncomfortable with backing your rig. If you are driving a large Class A motorhome, then you are in luck since there are some extra long pads. Make sure your generator is fueled up for this park. Electric looks to not be provided. The largest electric service is probably 30 amp. Regardless of other connections, water, surprisingly enough, is not a provided service. You will want to ensure an empty gray and black tank as sewer connections are not provided here. The park has a more authentic camping experience than some RV parks due to the lack of WiFi. We have no idea of the over the air TV, but we do know that no Cable TV is provided. Indications are that this park is not particularly animal friendly. Not sure this is a good thing for a high class RV experience, but tent camping is allowed. A neat thing about this park is that it does have some waterfront attached to it. If the days get hot, you can enjoy the shade trees that exist here. Do not just drive by Franconia – instead stop and rest at LAFAYETTE STATE PARK CAMPGROUND.
