KNIFE ISLAND CAMPGROUND is a RV Park in or near the town of Scanlon. It is a somewhat small park with a listed 34 pads to park your recreational vehicle. This park has pull thru sites for your convenience. Do not worry too much about the length of your very long RV rig since the sites are built for large RVs. You will be able to connect your RV to electric. Power is no problem – the park has 50 amp service. For the true RV experience – water hookups are provided – much better than camping in a tent! You will want to ensure an empty gray and black tank as sewer connections are not provided here. The park has a more authentic camping experience than some RV parks due to the lack of Wireless Internet. Really this shouldn’t be an issue for campers, honestly, but there is not a Cable TV hookup. Your pet is welcome at this park. Not sure this is a good thing for a high class RV experience, but tent camping is allowed. Shade trees are at this RV park so you will be able to sip gin and tonics in style. Do not just drive by Scanlon – instead stop and rest at KNIFE ISLAND CAMPGROUND.
