HOLMES CO. STATE PARK is a RV Park in or near the town of Durant. It is a fairly small park with a claimed 28 spots to park your coach. This park has pull thru slots to make setting up a snap. Do not worry too much about the length of your very large camper since the sites are built for large RVs. Electric hookups are provided. You will be thrilled to know that 50 amp service is provided. For the true RV experience – water hookups are provided – much better than camping in a tent! You will not be able to stay indefinitely as there are no sewer connections. If you are lucky, you might be able to use your cellular for internet, but otherwise there is no Wireless Internet. Really this shouldn’t be an issue for campers, honestly, but there is not a Cable TV hookup. Animals are welcome here. Some parts of this RV Park are more rustic than others with tent camping being accepted. Some shade trees do exist, which also make the park more scenic and attractive. Do not just drive by Durant – instead stop and rest at HOLMES CO. STATE PARK.
