GRANDFATHER MOUNTAIN CAMPGROUND is a RV Park in or near the town of Boone. It is a small to medium park with a reported 70 spots to park your camper. This park has pull thru slots to make setting up a snap. We are not sure that your Big Rig can fit comfortably so please call ahead. Electric hookups are provided. You will be thrilled to know that 50 amp service is provided. Another of the basics – water hookups – is provided. Some really good news is that a sewer connection is provided. The park has a more authentic camping experience than some RV parks due to the lack of 802.11 Wireless Internet. When you are relaxing and enjoying your RV, you will also enjoy the Cable TV hookups too. Go ahead and bring along little Barky since this park is Animal Friendly. Not sure this is a good thing for a high class RV experience, but tent camping is allowed. We tend to enjoy parks that have some connection to a waterfront, like a river or lake – and this park has that. If the days get hot, you can enjoy the shade trees that exist here. Maybe if you are planning on visiting Boone, you might find a great place to stay at GRANDFATHER MOUNTAIN CAMPGROUND.
