GOOSENECKS STATE PARK is a RV Park in or near the town of Mexican Hat. It is a super miniscule park with a claimed 1 pads to park your RV. This park has pull thru slots to make setting up a snap. If you are driving a very long RV rig, then you are in luck since there are some extra long pads. Bring your generator as this park does not have electric hookups. Do not expect to run both air conditioners as 30 amp seems to be the largest service. Make sure you have water in the fresh tank as water hookups are not provided. You will not be able to stay indefinitely as there are no sewer connections. If you are lucky, you might be able to use your cellular for internet, but otherwise there is no 802.11 WiFi. Really this shouldn’t be an issue for campers, honestly, but there is not a Cable TV hookup. Animals are welcome here. Some parts of this RV Park are more rustic than others with tent camping being accepted. Do not just drive by Mexican Hat – instead stop and rest at GOOSENECKS STATE PARK.
