GATOR LANDING GOLF CLUB AND CAMPGROUND is a RV Park in or near the town of Hawthorne. It is a somewhat small park with a listed 40 spots to park your camper. This park has pull thru slots to make setting up a snap. Do not worry too much about the length of your Big Daddy RV since the sites are built for large RVs. Electric hookups are provided. There is NO 50 amp service at the park. Another of the basics – water hookups – is provided. Adding to your RVing joy, make sure you bring your stinky slinky as there are sewer connections at the park. The park has a more authentic camping experience than some RV parks due to the lack of 802.11 WiFi. We have no idea of the over the air TV, but we do know that no Cable TV is provided. Go ahead and bring along little Rusty since this park is Animal Friendly. Some parts of this RV Park are more rustic than others with tent camping being accepted. We tend to enjoy parks that have some connection to a waterfront, like a river or lake – and this park has that. Some shade trees do exist, which also make the park more scenic and attractive. I am confident that the kind folks at GATOR LANDING GOLF CLUB AND CAMPGROUND would want you to give them a try if you are passing by Hawthorne.
