FORT MASSAC STATE PARK is a RV Park in or near the town of Metropolis. It is a almost small park with a possible 50 rv sites to park your RV. This park has no pull thru sites. Your Motorhome should have no trouble in the longer slots this park has. No need for a generator since the park has electric. One really nice thing is the 50 amp electric service. Make sure you have water in the fresh tank as water hookups are not provided. You will want to ensure an empty gray and black tank as sewer connections are not provided here. The park has a more authentic camping experience than some RV parks due to the lack of WiFi. We have no idea of the over the air TV, but we do know that no Cable TV is provided. Go ahead and bring along little Barky since this park is Animal Friendly. Not sure this is a good thing for a high class RV experience, but tent camping is allowed. If the days get hot, you can enjoy the shade trees that exist here. Do not be a stranger, when you are by Metropolis, give the peeps at FORT MASSAC STATE PARK a call.
