DESERT OF MAINE is a RV Park in or near the town of Freeport. It is a small park with a listed 52 sites to park your coach. This park has pull thru pads if you are uncomfortable with backing your rig. Your very large camper should have no trouble in the longer slots this park has. You will be able to connect your RV to electric. One really nice thing is the 50 amp electric service. For the true RV experience – water hookups are provided – much better than camping in a tent! Adding to your RVing joy, make sure you bring your stinky slinky as there are sewer connections at the park. If you just cannot get away without a little taste of the internet – do not be alarmed – 802.11 WiFi is at the park. Really this shouldn’t be an issue for campers, honestly, but there is not a Cable TV hookup. Your pet is welcome at this park. Some parts of this RV Park are more rustic than others with tent camping being accepted. If getting in a pool is your thing then you are in luck at this park – it has pool access. If the days get hot, you can enjoy the shade trees that exist here. If you ever get near Freeport make sure you stop on by the DESERT OF MAINE .
