COTTONWOOD CAMPGROUND-CANYON DE CHELLY NATIONAL MONUMENT is a RV Park in or near the town of Chinle. It is a slightly larger than medium park with a listed 96 spots to park your coach. This park has pull thru slots to make setting up a snap. Your very large camper should have no trouble in the longer slots this park has. Bring your generator as this park does not have electric hookups. The largest electric service is probably 30 amp. Make sure you have water in the fresh tank as water hookups are not provided. You will want to ensure an empty gray and black tank as sewer connections are not provided here. The park has a more authentic camping experience than some RV parks due to the lack of Wireless Internet. We have no idea of the over the air TV, but we do know that no Cable TV is provided. Go ahead and bring along little Wags since this park is Animal Friendly. Not sure this is a good thing for a high class RV experience, but tent camping is allowed. Shade trees are at this RV park so you will be able to sip soda in style. Do not just drive by Chinle – instead stop and rest at COTTONWOOD CAMPGROUND-CANYON DE CHELLY NATIONAL MONUMENT.
