CLARKCO STATE PARK is a RV Park in or near the town of Quitman. It is a mostly medium park with a possible 79 pads to park your camper. This park has pull thru sites for your convenience. Do not worry too much about the length of your Big Rig since the sites are built for large RVs. No need for a generator since the park has electric. There is NO 50 amp service at the park. For the true RV experience – water hookups are provided – much better than camping in a tent! Adding to your RVing joy, make sure you bring your stinky slinky as there are sewer connections at the park. The park has a more authentic camping experience than some RV parks due to the lack of 802.11 Wireless Internet. You had better hope you have satellite if you are a Couch Potato – no cable tv at this park. Animals are welcome here. Some parts of this RV Park are more rustic than others with tent camping being accepted. A neat thing about this park is that it does have some waterfront attached to it. Some shade trees do exist, which also make the park more scenic and attractive. Maybe if you are planning on visiting Quitman, you might find a great place to stay at CLARKCO STATE PARK.
