CHRISTIES CAMPGROUND is a RV Park in or near the town of Newport. It is a almost small park with a listed 50 spots to park your RV. This park has pull thru slots to make setting up a snap. If your coach is 36 feet or longer you might want to call and see if you are too long. Electric hookups are provided. One really nice thing is the 50 amp electric service. For the true RV experience – water hookups are provided – much better than camping in a tent! Probably due to the nature of the park and its location, sewer connections are not available. I do not know about you, but I cannot live without 802.11 Wireless Internet and this park has it so that is a good thing. You had better hope you have satellite if you are a TV Addict – no cable tv at this park. Go ahead and bring along little Mr K9 since this park is Animal Friendly. Not sure this is a good thing for a high class RV experience, but tent camping is allowed. A neat thing about this park is that it does have some waterfront attached to it. If the days get hot, you can enjoy the shade trees that exist here. If you ever get near Newport make sure you stop on by the CHRISTIES CAMPGROUND.
