CHOCTAW LAKE – TOMBIGBEE NF is a RV Park in or near the town of Ackerman. It is a fairly small park with a reported 24 sites to park your home away from home. This park does not seem to have pull thru sites. If you are driving a Big Rig, then you are in luck since there are some extra long pads. Electric hookups are provided. Power is no problem – the park has 50 amp service. No need to fill the freshwater since there are water hookups. You will want to ensure an empty gray and black tank as sewer connections are not provided here. The park has a more authentic camping experience than some RV parks due to the lack of Wireless Internet. We have no idea of the over the air TV, but we do know that no Cable TV is provided. Your pet is welcome at this park. Some parts of this RV Park are more rustic than others with tent camping being accepted. This park has some waterfront so you might get to enjoy the added benefit of the peace of water. If the days get hot, you can enjoy the shade trees that exist here. Maybe if you are planning on visiting Ackerman, you might find a great place to stay at CHOCTAW LAKE – TOMBIGBEE NF.
