CHIPPOKES PLANTATION STATE PARK is a RV Park in or near the town of Surry. It is a small park with a claimed 60 spots to park your recreational vehicle. This park has pull thru sites for your convenience. Your Big Rig should have no trouble in the longer slots this park has. You will be able to connect your RV to electric. You will be thrilled to know that 50 amp service is provided. For the true RV experience – water hookups are provided – much better than camping in a tent! You will not be able to stay indefinitely as there are no sewer connections. If you are lucky, you might be able to use your cellular for internet, but otherwise there is no 802.11 Wireless Internet. You had better hope you have satellite if you are a TV Watcher – no cable tv at this park. Go ahead and bring along little Fluffy since this park is Animal Friendly. Not sure this is a good thing for a high class RV experience, but tent camping is allowed. Bring your swim trunks this park has access to a pool. If the days get hot, you can enjoy the shade trees that exist here. Maybe if you are planning on visiting Surry, you might find a great place to stay at CHIPPOKES PLANTATION STATE PARK.
